This notice concerns the Catamaran Radio player and web app. Contact the service operator at info@catamaranradio.com for privacy enquiries.

Data processed

The player does not require an account. When you connect, the website and streaming services receive technical data such as your IP address, browser, requested resource and connection time. The app does not request access to your microphone, contacts or precise location.

Why data is used

Technical data is used to deliver the audio stream, display the current track and artwork, remember your language and protect the service. Processing necessary for the requested service is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; service security is based on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f).

Local storage and installation

Your device stores your language preference, acknowledgement of this notice and cached player files for the web app. These settings remain until you remove them or clear browser data. Installing the app is optional and does not create an account.

Streaming and artwork providers

Audio, track information and cover images are supplied by RadioBOSS Cloud. Connecting to these services necessarily sends connection data to the provider. The player added here contains no advertising trackers or audience analytics.

Retention and provider information

Local preferences can be deleted from your browser settings. For the identity and location of hosting and streaming providers, any international transfers and their technical-log retention periods, contact the service operator. No fixed server-log retention period is stated here because it has not been verified.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Contact info@catamaranradio.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Italian Garante.
